It's been a while

So, it's been a while, huh? It's hard to believe 2013 was my last journal entry, right when I finished high school. Now five years later, I've just graduated from University with a degree. Crazy. I want to apologise for being gone for so long, to all the friends who have moved on that I lost contact with, the communities I left behind...it's scary to really think about my old days on here. A lot has certainly changed since those times, that's for sure. To be honest, I'm actually struggling to even find words for what I want to say, or to talk about those past times. It's something that I do miss, I wish that those who were nearest and dearest to me are doing well. That they are living their dreams and achieving their ambitions. I wish I could just talk to them again and see how thing's are going, but so many are gone it's a shame that I can't reconnect with people and communities I was once so involved with.
However, I don't want this journal to be completely full of remorse. I'm here aren't I? So, guess I better get to the other stuff I wanted to talk about...
Probably one of the main things is I've changed my online tag to 'Arpee' (props to those who get the name change, have a cookie), I have considered changing my name on here to that, but who has the time? I sometimes wonder if a completely fresh rebrand would help, but meh, again, who has the time?
I am now relatively active on here (considering the last 5 years at least). It's been difficult trying to get back into the circuit, I feel that my art (though better than it was previously) is kinda falling at the way side, like it's invisible. It kinda sucks, but I guess having been away for so long and people coming and going, it's hard to get 'renoticed'. Anyway, as you can see my work is centrally focused on Pokemon work at the moment. I have an on going project where I'm trying to get an illustration done for each of the members of the Pokken Tournament DX cast in preparation for an upcoming tournament. Oh, right, I guess that's something I should probably bring up. I am now an active member in the Pokken Tournament community, specifically EU, though I am known in the US and such. It's a game I became heavily interested and active in when it was first released on the WiiU days, now it's kinda my main community I move in. If anyone out there is interested in the game, I'd love if to get you in touch with our Discord communities and so you can become more involved with the Pokken family! They've certainly done a lot for me, and I have made some truly wonderful friends. Indeed, just there in August I recieved money from a Gofundme drive set up by the EU community so that they could send a player who didn't qualify to the Last Chance Qualifier at the Pokemon World Chmpionships in Nashville. Somehow, I recieved the most votes to be given the money to pay for my flights and so went on an adventure to attend the biggest Pokemon event in the world! My dream! I had an absolute blast, getting to meet friends I had known for years but never had the chance to speak to in person. I competed with the world's best and, while I didn't do as well as I hoped, I went positive in score winning 3 of my matches and losing 2 (double elimination tournament). It was a fantastic oppertunity that I never dreamed I would get to experience.
Sooooo....yeah. A lot has been going on, I'm probably missing so much, but honestly my mind is just completely blank for things to talk about. Thank you for taking the time to read this shamble of a journal, I hope that you guys still enjoy my art. If you want to find me on social media, I'm primarily active on Twitter.

Well well well well, it's been so long! February was my last journal. JEESE, how did I last that long without Deviantart, seriously - I dunno how I did it! I have missed it so much though, seriously. I have had to restrain myself, stop myself from coming on here. Anyway, Guess what guise.
I'VE LEFT SCHOOL, LIKE LOLOLOLOL FINISHED ALL MY EXAMS I DON'T HAVE TO GO BACK I JUST ASDFGHGHHDSASFGHFD NO WORDS.
6 years of my life have been spent in that school, how did I cope? I'd like to thank my friends, without them, I probably would have been a drop out. Anywhore, A lot of stuff has gone on, went to EYC (European Youth Championships) in Austria, IT WAS AWESOME OH MY GOD MET SO MANY AMAZING PEOPLE MADE SO MANY NEW FRIENDS! I loved it! No words can describe how much that trip meant to me. Didn't necessarily bowl as well as I was hoping but still, didn't come last! ;D
Yeah, so the next few months are still gonna be kinda busy - not because of school really, just a lot of events and such.
Here's what's going on:

July 18th - Come back from Florida, gonna be sad (and sunburned)
August 2nd - I TURN 18 MY LITTLE SWALLOTS, 18!!!! I'm so old ;-;
August 7th? - Exam results arrive, omfg find out if I get into Uni, omfg.
So yeah, that's the next couple of months all wrapped up, pretty busy, loads to do. but after all that, I'm free dudes, for a year (unless I don't get into uni...then I dunno what I'm gonna do)
My hands ache now, not types in so long - need to get more practice in. I hope to hear from you guys soon, I miss everyone and this site in general - I can't wait to get back to submitting art.
This is just a little update for you, to all those who have commisioned me, I am SOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSO sorry for the extremely long delay, this is why I don't get people to pay me before I submit their stuff - I never get stuff done. Hiatus

Yup, we knew it was coming. Now this isn't gonna be a journal like the one the other week, it's gonna eb quick.
School work has piled up, I have deadlines, some I'm going to struggle to meet and deviant art is getting in my way. I may check my messages, but I'm going to try and ban myself from the internet unless I'm using school work, the newxt few weeks are just gonna be very hectic and busy so I need to get stuff done :/
So yeah, dunno how long I'll be away - I've requested hiatus from PKMN-Crossing, so shouldn't be on here often.

HEY! It's me, that annoying 17 year old who is always busy and never posts journals! Well today you're getting one, so enjoy it while it lasts.
So yeah, I know I have been inactive for a wee bit, and I know that I really shouldn't be, but NEWS FLASH - LIFE OUTSIDE OF THE INTERWEBS HAS BEEN ROUGH RECENTLY HEHE, YEAH! YOU HEARD ME! I ACTUALLY HAVE A NORMAL (I say that with caution) LIFE! School has been, to put it simply, TAKING OVER ALL MY FREE TIME, YEAH IKR? INCONSIDERATE MONSTERS!
Anywhore, I have been swamped with homework, and I'm no goody goodylies, but hey, EDUCATION COMES BEFORE D.A. BROS, WORD!
Yeah, dunno why I'm acting like this, it's crazy...
So yeah, school work = hard, School work = lots => no free time!
BUT DON'T FRET MY LITTLE SWAGGLETS! ALL IS NOT LOST! You see, once all of this crap is off my plate I can get down to dessert, SUBMITTING ART! You heard me folks! I have a few things in the works, must admit, mostly commissions. You see the issue I have found with me doing commissions is...I start one, I get bored, so start another, get bored and then start another until eventually...I have done all the linearts and base colours for my commissions and need to start shading...and if you haven't guessed already, I HAAAATTTTEEEE shading C: what, really Nyaaomi? But it's your best feature! I know my little mareeps, it's crazy! How can somebody like me, who is always enthusiastic, get bored with drawing? IT'S MADNESS! But I digress, I hate shading...I said it. Linearts, I LOVE DEM SO MUCH, THANKS TO SAI, THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN C:
*ahem* So Yeah, sorry to EVERYONE who has commissioned me, I am slow - DEAL WITH IT! I don't mean to sound so horrible ;-;
As for payments, I only expect you to pay me once your commission has been submitted, otherwise, I may forget and take your points and leave you without artwork ;-; I tend to do that.
Anyway, as for groups PKMN-Crossing I have been neglecting this lovely group for longer than I intended, as you can guess SCHOOL has inhibited me from doing any form of art for the group, I apologise. However, it's a new year, in a couple of months I will have *inhales deep* FINISHED HIGH SCHOOL OH MY GOD HOW SUPER AMAZING IS THAT PIECE OF CRAP HUH? SERIOUSLY BRO, NOOOOOOOO HIGH SCHOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLL EVEVVVEVEVEVEVEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!
So yeah, lifes been busy recently, I have also been busy with my bowling training and such because you know *coughcoughcough* I'm going to the European Youth Championships in March and need a butt load of money to pay for the trip which is the biggest step in my bowling career so far as this tournament is MEGA difficult and only the top four boys and girls from each country are picked SOOOOO bowling's been hectic.
Uni has been nagging at my ass for payments DESPITE THE FACT I haven't even accepted their offer yet and I'm not going to uni until 2014 as I'm taking a gap year HOORAY FOR FREE TIME AFTER JULY YAAASSSSS!! ARRTSSSS PEOPLE ARTTSSSS
On a lighter note I went to see All Time Low last week live for the third time. They were AWESOME, as always. It's sort of become an annual meeting their concerts. I get to see them every year, they get to revel in my fangirlish screams.
Oh and I'm doing lent this year, no junk food. Yay
And so yeah. That's my life right now. In a nutshell. Been busy. Yeah you could say that. Life gonna get busy? Yup, a hell of a lot more busy. Have no time for friends. I apologise my phampy's. School work is a priority. Any possible boyfriends? Not a chance. Why? Because I'm too busy with school work. BADUMBUMCHOO! Chances of getting a boyfriend? Nil. Why? Everybody in high school are minks. True dat. Outside of school? Possibly. Possibly? I like him. He knows it. Dunno if he likes me. We'll see. Dunno if I like him. TBH. I couldn't tell you. He's not tall enough. He's taller than me. But that's not hard! True dat. Wish he was just a little taller. meh. Life.
